Cynthia Martinez, PhD
District AVID Coordinator

Dr. Cynthia Martinez is a dedicated educator who is committed to helping all students succeed. With 17 years of professional experience, including over eight years as an AVID District Coordinator and a PhD in School Improvement, she has spent her career identifying the most effective strategies to help students thrive.

Currently, Dr. Martinez works directly with our teachers to create classrooms where students don't just learn, but lead. She is passionate about helping every child build the college and career ready habits and critical thinking skills they need to be successful in school and beyond.

Nancy Nauman
Assistant Principal, Teaching and Learning, AVID/Academy Administrator, El Diamante High School

Nancy Nauman is a school leader and educator with extensive experience in high school instruction and leadership. She works closely with students, teachers, and families to create supportive, engaging learning environments that promote student success. Nancy has experience with programs such as AVID, Advanced Placement and college and career readiness. She is passionate about helping parents better understand how to support their child’s academic journey. She believes strong partnerships between schools and families are essential to preparing students for their future.
